Caring for pure copper
Pure copper is a living metal. Over time it darkens and develops a natural patina, and it can leave a harmless green mark on the skin. This is normal and washes off with soap and water.
- To bring back the shine, rub gently with a soft cloth and a little lemon juice and salt, or a copper polishing cloth, then rinse and dry.
- Dry your jewellery after washing your hands, swimming or showering.
- Store it in its pouch away from moisture when you are not wearing it.
- Avoid household chemicals, perfume and chlorine.
Adjusting your bracelet
Link bracelets can be shortened by removing links with a link removal tool. Take out links evenly from both sides of the clasp so the clasp stays centred.
Magnet safety
Magnetic jewellery is not suitable for anyone with a pacemaker, ICD, insulin pump or other implanted electronic device, or during pregnancy. Keep magnets away from bank cards, phones and watches, and remove your jewellery before an MRI scan or X-ray.
